Advanced Oxidation System (AOS) Alpha in Action!
Carter, a BioLargo Water Research Technician monitors probe readings from the AOS Alpha prototype in the company's laboratory space at Agri-Food Discovery Place, on the University of Alberta campus. The AOS Alpha prototype was developed by BioLargo Water in collaboration with the Centre for Sensors and System Integration (CSSI) at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). It features an array of state-of-the-art sensors that track electrochemical and water quality parameters, and custom software to automatically monitor and record water quality readings. What sort of work is ongoing with the AOS Alpha? Our research scientists and technicians are hard at work validating the efficacy of the AOS Alpha at higher flow-rates, and proving its efficiency in treating real-word wastewater sources from industrial facilities such as dairies, poultry processing, poultry production, and municipal wastewater. It's hard work, but every test brings the AOS closer to its comm
