250 Gallons of Pink Water

Want to see what 250 gallons of poultry chill tank water looks like? Just look at the picture below. Your eyes don't deceive you, the water is indeed pink from having poultry bathed in it for hours on end. Poultry chill tanks are commonly used to bring poultry carcasses down to a temperature of 4C for safe processing, and is very important for the prevention of food contamination. We're about to treat this nasty water with our AOS treatment train to allow it to meet regulatory discharge and water re-use standards. By doing this, we can allow poultry processors to save money on discharge fines, and even reuse the water, saving on fresh water intake.
